Wavin' Flag
I've been a K'naan fan since my Philly based friend Tyler Boeyink showed me his music. His single Wavin' Flag has been an anthem for almost every occasion, but this one is its best form. Check out this video fearturing way too many famous artists (justin beiber, my girlfriend lights, avril, etc.) giving their lending hand to Haiti.

There's a phenomenon where you start trailing off your sentence...
Women could rule the world if they wanted. Not like Hitler (well, maybe some of those scalawags could...) but more like a Noble Peace Prize winner... more like a Nelson Mandela kind of way. More like the responsible kind of person.
Men do nothing but fight for their own greed. How many times do we see a wife glue together a relationship? I believe a case study of relationships and marriages will show men cannot function without their woman to keep pushing them from behind.
How does men and the world feel okay about being so disrespectful to our beautiful women in this world? How can women demean themselves in front of men? How can people sit on their couch with their bros and say "I'd gladly plow the hell out of the bitch, daaamn!" How can women wear close to nothing and fall object to a man's sexual doing?
Disgusting.
I want you to imagine a world where women wouldn't be here to grab you an extra bottle of soap when you run out in the shower, or when they aren't here to make your lonely nights feel more loved. Imagine a world where a girls couldn't walk into your home or into your car and you notice how beautiful things can be. Imagine a world where you couldnt get that lump in your throat or that butterfly in your stomach. I want you to imagine a life where you won't find a girl that you'll happily bow to their feet for. Imagine a world of shallow loneliness embedded in sexual and disrespectful cravings.

December already. Sup son?
Dude, it's December and it's like 50 degrees outside.
Remember being a middle schooler and when the weather starts getting warm after winter, you'd get off the bus...take off your jacket, and play basketball in the driveway? Even if it's still like 40 degrees outside...
I almost did that today, but instead of taking off my jacket and playing basketball with my neighbors when I got off the bus.... I....
...got off the bus, took of my jacket, went inside my apartment, and... PAYED MY BILLS. Yup, I got important shit to do. Then I wasted 3 hours doing stupid shit on the internet. Like look at ninja cats. Like I said...important things.

Life is going by too fast and sometimes I feel like I have nothing to show for all the time I spent. Horrible.
This is the new Edward Norton movie Leaves of Grass. It's about drugs. Yup.
If this is funny, it won't surprise me. If this is not funny, it won't surprise me.
The era of Hollywood movie stars is dead people. Cast unknowns in movies with big name crew members and you're golden. Or just quit and marry for money.
Also, here's the music video for Sleeping At Last's Green Screens.

SPIKE JONZE AND KANYE WEST SHORT FILM and A PICTURE OF MY DREAM WOMAN
Friday might have been one of the best days of my entire life, and that includes all the days in the coming future. I mean, like, there's some days that have ruled in the past and the future is going to rule too (like the day when Emma Watson and I go on a date to the San Diego Zoo, buy ring pops, and I kiss her in front of the red butt baboons), but Friday will always find a spot in the top 10 best days of my life.
I saw 3 awesome bands live. Especially Copeland and Barcelona.
Saw old friends.
Talked to my celebrity crush that I've been creepily obsessed with.
Real talk with a good friend of mine.
Went to a dance party with a good friend of mine and saw other good friends of mine.
Had breakfast with good friends of mine and my younger brother.
Cool Beans. I don't mean to be vulgar about the entire thing, but it gave me a boner. Yep!
So anyway, here's the cool update of the week.
director/producer/writer SPIKE JONZE, who is coming right off the big screen adaption of WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE (in which he directed), made a short film with KANYE WEST as the star. Spike has directed 2 other music videos for Kanye and this short film was put into a handful of award ceremonies. Check ittt out!
IMMA LET YOU FINISH, BUT HERE'S SOME PICS FROM FRIDAY.
Oh, and remember that crazy celebrity crush I have? Her name is LIGHTS. She's a really beautiful singer and woman. She's on that tour with that one band called Owl City. Yeah. This is her.
This is me hanging out with her! She asked if I was dating anyone, I didn't want to seem lame and I wanted to impress her so I lied and said "yes, like three different girls". She said "oh" and looked really sad. She totally wanted me and I totally messed up. OH WELL! Thanks Bryan for the picture!
Barcelona live= epic.
And a shout out goes to this group of kids. We were at a dance party and they informed me that they read my blog. That was cool to hear. You guys rule and make me blush redder than an orange that's painted red!

There is so much to say about this at 3 a.m.
Kuroshio Sea, the second largest aquarium.
Beautiful song= Please Dont Go by Barcelona.
This video is beautiful. That's the only way to justify all the emotion that is portrayed by the visual, the aquarium, the colors, the fish, the music, and the opinions that can be drawn from it. Regardless if you believe that this isn't right to capture the wildlife of the ocean and contain them in this living environment, or if this simply just amazes you to see how beautiful and big our world can be... there is no doubt that this video is beautiful enough to extract those emotions. I think that counts as something spectacular; anything that is able to make your mind think, feel, and believe in the emotions you portray... that's simply beautiful.
All that real talk got me thinking. There is so much in this world and in my life I keep concealed and so much that bums me out that it becomes overwhelming. It's easy to suppress it and hide. So much of that anger and depression hides deep inside my stomach, but I've gotten so good at pushing it away that it looks non-existent in my life.
After watching this small video at three in morning, it got me thinking about how small I really am in this world. How selfish I/We can all be at times. There is so much more bigger than ourselves that it overwhelms and scares us into a corner. It's hard to be real with who we are and who we want to be, but sometimes we have to realize that other people should be put first. Sometimes we have to push our selfish pride aside to become a better person. One day, we'll find that we learn more about our own selfish and lost souls when we confide and care more about others first.
So for now, I'll keep all my demons pushed away and suppressed because when I dig deep down into it, I find that I'm blessed to have what I have and be who I am. Sometimes you find happiness in seeing the joy in other people's lives. I find mine making joy in others lives. I will confide in you if you promise to confide in me. But in my book, you come first. Do what you do, and don't worry about me. I'll definitely stand up for you and stand behind you... never before you.
Barcelona is one of the best bands in the entire world and I'm thinking my blog for tonight was way too deep for 3 a.m.

p.s. i miss all of you guys and i miss summer. oh and i want it to be a saturday where i can tailgate the isu football game already. i love that crap. oh, and social psych readings are boring. kbye.
p.p.s. It's so horribly disrespectful that facebook has an ad on the side of the page that says "meet cute christian girls" and then portrays 2 models basically grinding and lez-ing each other. horrible. no respect for real women or our minds. it makes me want to go buy jell-o cups.
