I once heard that people only say and do things they think they ought to say and do.

There is one phenomenon that can't be understood or mastered.
In life, there is a moment of randomness that strikes a chord that cannot be repeated or recreated because in a split second, an entire continuity of prior events can shift into completely new directions or experiences. This moment of our lives is simply out of our hands.

This phenomenon is the human connection. Connection is an underwhelming feeling that grows on every aspect of our lives.

We long for passion to be the foundation of our life steps, goals, and aspirations, but the only way that true connection can be brought to the surface of our under appreciated lives is if we use real passion to connect our endeavors.

The human connection, whether it be with a job, a goal, a lover, or a god, will not happen through anticipation. This connection is remarkable in the fact that, with all the paths that are possible in life, with all the people that walk these paths, and all the possibilities that draw these maps; there is an event when two paths cross, and for a brief moment, you're not on your path alone.

I'm waiting for that moment. I'm waiting for that connection with something, anything.

Sincerely,
Andrew
