Brandt Van Rees is from Pella. I know what you're thinking... "Brandt Van Rees can do something other than make shitty perverse jokes and smoke too much weed?"
the answer is no.
But he did make this nifty video. He's actually really good and has great potential. It's shot with a pretty great camera (Cannon HV30 ) and edited with Sony Vegas production tools. Notice how the song fits with the footage and the tight camera techniques utilized to show foreshadowing, it really shows how magical summer can be if you look and listen just right.
Brandt and I are planning on filming one of my many short scripts soon. It's a toss up between filming the script about a couple who are being unfaithful to their potential soul mates in order to find some sort of spark in each others lives, or filming the script about how Lizzy McGuire is actually an alien from the long lost planet of Pluto and utilizes Crocs to rid of the human race while unfaithfully having sex with Brandt and I. There's probably a better choice we're going to shoot the first script described.
